Okay, so the kids are supposed to be writing on this blog...they will, they will - especially once we start in our travels. I did want to take a moment to remember 9-11...as we may be heading into New York for just a few hours in October (so much to see and do).
I think what pains me the most about the attack on the World Trade Centre Towers was the loss of life and the devastation to families. I can't imagine how many families lost loved ones that day...and it makes me so grateful for our family and how much God has blessed us. ~Scott
Mommy went to the same college as Todd Beamer - who helped stopped a terrorist from piloting a plane to hit the capital and made it crash in Pennsylvania. That was very brave of him to do. ~Ryan

Wow - Amy knew Todd Beamer? Amazing. It is good to remember that day. I hope you can see Ground Zero while you are in NY. It'll be something none of you ever forget.

Sadly, Ryan got that wrong. Amy went to the same college as Todd Beamer...so, not quite the same as friends with...sorry about that mis-info. I modfied his posting once I got your note...thanks! :)sv
